Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how TMRW MADE LTD (PurgeOps) uses cookies and similar technologies on purgeops.com and the PurgeOps web application. "Cookies" are small text files stored on your device. "Local storage" is a browser mechanism with similar persistence but is not sent automatically on every HTTP request.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary — required for authentication, security, and core app functionality. These cannot be switched off while using logged-in features.
- Functional / preferences — remember UI choices that are not essential to the Service (for example dismissing a banner).
- Analytics — we do not currently load first-party or third-party analytics scripts (such as Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics) in this repository.
- Advertising — none.
3. Cookies and storage we use
The table below reflects a codebase audit as of the last updated date. Supabase cookie names include your project reference and may appear as chunked variants (e.g. .0, .1) for large session payloads.
| Name / key | Type | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project-ref>-auth-token | HTTP cookie | Strictly necessary | Supabase Auth session (login state, refresh tokens). Set by @supabase/ssr in server and middleware. | Session / refresh per Supabase config |
| purgeops-announcement-dismissed-v1 | localStorage | Functional | Records that you closed the marketing site announcement bar (AnnouncementBar.tsx). | Until you clear site data |
No other localStorage, sessionStorage, or application document.cookie usage was found in the PurgeOps source tree at audit time.
4. Third-party sites
When you complete Stripe Checkout or open the Stripe Customer Portal, Stripe may set cookies on Stripe's own domain. Those are governed by Stripe's policies, not this page. Slack OAuth similarly uses Slack-controlled cookies during authorization.
5. How to manage
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent login. You can clear local storage for purgeops.com to reset the announcement bar preference.
6. Changes
If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, collect consent before non-essential cookies are set.
